about

Imagine a mixture of nocturnal apathy sang by the imaginary offspring of Jandek, Smog and Michael Gira.

Put this uncomfortable songwriter an acoustic guitar and a Farfisa Organ of the 1968 in his hands in the night-time after ten years of experimental and post industrial music (Testing Vault, Anatomy, Pariah). His mouth will start to get opened. The chords deliberately forgot most of the time. The production became dirty and filthy. The low and trembling emotive voice will begin to trust in its qualities. A visceral personal diary will start to take shape. The most tender moments are of fucking destruction. There's no irony. There's quiet. And calm.

But calm has never been that eerie and anxious.

The first solo acoustic album of Santagiuliana Daniele, "Jeremiad", is a collection of quiet lullabies wrote down for an insomniac choir.
